Q. How do I enter the competition?

A. 1. Sign up for the competition by entering you name and email.
2. Fill out your Profile page.
3. Submit a great idea.
4. Finalize the competition submission by the application deadline.

Q. When is the competition’s deadline?

A. The competition’s deadline is on August 22, 2017 at 23:59 CET.

Q. Who is eligible to compete?

A. Members of the SI Network for Future Global Leaders and the SI Alumni Network.

Q. Can I enter the competition as part of a team?

A. Yes. We accept submissions from individuals, as well as from teams of up to three. All team members must be a part of the SI Network for Future Global Leaders or the SI Alumni Network. If competing as a team, pick a team leader who will register your team and be responsible for all communication with regards to this challenge.

Q. What are the judging criteria?

A. The jury will evaluate the submissions based on the following criteria:

  • Innovation Strength: Be creative and original with an idea pertaining to sustainable energy in either food, household, travel, or transportation.
  • Context: Link your idea to an important local or global problem.
  • Societal Value: Find the best way to have a positive impact on society.

Q. What is the prize?

A. The winner ideas will win a fully funded trip to Stockholm as well as an invitation to attend an exclusive event hosted by the the Social Entrepreneurship Forum in November 16-17, 2017. Winners will meet experts within entrepreneurship and sustainability, and get the opportunity to build a valuable network as well as participate in a crash course on how to pitch your ideas successfully.
